I’ve just discovered a new health challenge! I don’t know if you’ve heard of Jason Vale – ‘the juice-master, well now he’s become the blend master!
Ive always preferred blending over juicing. I feel like you get the whole of the fruit or veg and not miss out on the pulp. Fruits are full of fructose, which is just SUGAR basically, but the fibre of the fruit protects against the harmful effects of too much fructose. When you blend you retain the fibre, when you juice you loose it. Only one winner for me!
At home I have a Blendtec blender. Ok, it wasn’t cheap. But it has lasted me for 5 years so far, it chops through ANYTHING!, and it is the most used appliance in my kitchen. So it has been an amazing investment really. There are cheaper blenders out there but for me this was the best ‘domestic blender’ on the market at the time, and I’ve never looked back!
So anyway, I was looking for a book on new blends (cos I was stuck in a habit of the same old blend), when I came across Jason Vales book
I read it in one day!!!
It was exactly what I was looking for and more! Not only does it have recipes for healthy blends and tips for blending etc (who new that you should take as long to consume a blend as you would to eat the raw ingredients) I used to just whack it down and overburden my body with heavily fibrous food, and not get the full benefit.
But it also comes with a blending detox plan. 7, 10, 14 or 21 days of blends, and blends only. Sounds daunting doesn’t it.
The results from the huge test groups and the ongoing stream of people that have completed the plan are nothing short of AMAZING. People are reporting huge weight loss, huge fatloss, recovery from psoriasis, diabetes, heart diseases…. all sorts. Don’t take my word for it. You can just type it into google and research it.
I was sold!
So I’m in. My girlfriend and I are in day 2. And so far for me, I’ve been suffering from a bit of a cold, so not feeling 100% but I also feel energised. I’m feeling good mentally, my body is just trying to catch up.
I was hungry yesterday between blends, but I’m not feeling TOO bad today. Apparently it gets easier often the first 72 hours.
I don’t know what results to expect accurately. I’m excited to find out. But I ‘know!’ I will feel better, and lose at least some body fat. It’s science.
Its a plant based protein plan that’s loaded with nutrients and so it HAS to be beneficial.
We’re committed to the 10 day plan. Results to follow!
Really looking forward to seeing the benefits 🙂
