6 weeks – Body Composition stats improvement.

Sunday Stat update.

I’ve fallen into measuring my body composition stats on the Tanita BC1000 Body Composition Scale with ANT + Wireless Data Transmission . These are the scales that I have been measuring my stats since the turn of the year. I have done a review of these on my sister webpage here BeerFree Reviews. So I’m not going to bang on about how accurate the scales are. And by using the same scales throughout, if there was any inaccuracies, they would be consistent throughout.

Just as a recap, if you haven’t seen previous blogs, I’m measuring the stats every two weeks. Just seeing what happens to the body after quitting alcohol and following a simple routine of exercising 3 times a week and eating a fairly balanced diet. Slowly introducing new healthy habits to see any marked differences in the body.

So here’s the updated stats for today:

Stats

Again, its shows a steady improvement in most of the key areas. Body Fat has dropped a percentage, water’s increased, muscle mass increase, visceral fat down one mark. I’m happy to see that my waistline has reduced slightly, this is a key marker to overall health. I’m not happy to see that my metabloic age is still up at 50! So annoying, I need to research more into what i need to do to reduce this. I aim to work primarily on this stat over the next two weeks.

Looking at the stats its nothing radical. I’m not going to be rushing out selling any ‘miracle 6 week body transformation’ DVD’s or the like. But it is nice steady progress. Overall i’m happy with the direction its going.

So.

With the stats in mind and the week behind us, here are the goals for the next two weeks:

  • Research and implement, how to improve metabolic age
  • Maintain minimum 3 workouts/week.
  • Start introducing a Yoga workout at least once a week (to recover and stretch)
  • Complete 1 full week of ‘No sugar’. Meaning, consuming nothing that I identify as ‘Sugar’, (sweets, cake, chocolate etc)
  • Set up and take 1 Bootcamp/circuit training class.
  • Look into starting a personal training qualification.

And that’s that wrapped up, time to get stuck into the next two weeks! 🙂
